How do you prevent make-up from reflecting the light (flash) in a photo? - light reflecting make up

I have a large birthmark that covers half of my right arm and almost one fourth of my right breast ... at parties or when I wear a dress, usually covered with makeup or basic restorative measures. However, I have the picture, note the correction, you seem to be what the flash, it seems much easier than the rest of my body. However, a closer, remember that color is probably over and mix well. They say there is something in the composition that the flash that the pop-resolved reflected from the area in the photo. No cure for this? Is this due to the brand of makeup I use?
